OS: Server 2008 R2 Standard with SP1 and all critical/security patches
User Account Control: Off
Database: MS SQL 2008 R2 Express
DB Auth: Mixed mode
SQLBackupAndFTP Account: Domain administrator account in the local administrators group. This account is an admin in SQL as well.
SqlBackupAndFTP Version: 6.1.6.34242

G'day to everyone!
I just installed SqlBackupAndFTP 6.1 on my SQL Express 2008 R2 with dedicated Windows 2008 R2 server.
I configured one Backup Job and everytime I run it manually, it works fine.
My problem exists only when I configure schedule options and network access user in Advance Settings.
When I save the Job, the system ask me the password for DOMAIN\Administrator user. I put in the CORRECT password for DOMAIN ADMINISTRATOR user, but the system return me a schedule warning.

HERE THE WARNING MESSAGE

Scheduling warning

Login failed for DOMAIN\Administrator:

Probably DOMAIN\Administrator is not in Administrators group. Try to select another user account. (Error:GetTokenInformation: A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated.

(1312))

This means that the job will most likely also fail.

Can you help me?

Best regards

We need remote access to resolve this issue. Please follow in this post: http://sqlbackupandftp.c...ckup-fails.aspx#post1298

Hi!

Sorry, but I'm not the same person. If you need remote connection isn't a problem.
Please say me how (teamviewer, logmein, gotoassist or ammyy...) and when.

Thank you

Davide

Hi to everyone!

I think I found a workaround changing the task owner (DOMAIN\administrator) in the windows scheduler or creating a new task in the scheduler.
See ya

Davide, do you mean that your workaround is to use Windows Task Scheduler instead of SBF scheduler service?

Hi Mikeshilov,

Yeah, my problem was using even the windows scheduler (first choice as default) and the SBF scheduler service. When I choose SBF scheduler service or windows scheduler, the system asks me credentials with admin rights. Anyone user I use with admin rights the system returns me that warning.
I created a local user member of local administrators group, I used domain admin member of local administrators group too, I used administrator as local user, but I can't go trough.
So I saw that SBF created anyway the jobs in my windows scheduler. I putted in the DOMAIN admin credentials and the job started as scheduled.

Sorry for my broken english....

Thank you
Davide

PS tomorrow or today I will buy the professional version.
