What is the maximum size of the Database, for which im still able to do ZIP Compression ?

my database is about 45 GB :-/

but i remember something about ZIP not supporting more then 4 GB files ?

it can create zip of more than 4Gb if there is enough disk and memory space, just test it

Hmm Well...

I successfully backed up the database - which created a 6.7 GB ZIP file

The funny thing is, that ZIP really doesn't support such big files... so when i open the file, i'm told that the compressed size is 27.488.205.936.961 KB :D
and that the size is 93.720.790 KB...

eventhough, is decompress fine (disregarding windows glitches)
