Sql Backup And FTP

ftp s connection not working Options · View

My boss bought the professional version 6.2.

I tried to set up the connection to his ftp server pure-ftpd(linux) and my server(filezilla 0.9.40) in active explicit mode, but sqlbackupandftp isn't working in this mode.
The normal ftp and implicit connection works.
All other clients I tried : winscp, total commander are working in explicit mode.
Error message:
FTP Test
Request: STOR SBAFtest.temp Response: 425 Could not open data connection to port 53237: No route to host

The SBAFtest.temp file is created on the ftp server, sometimes with 0 size and sometimes with some content.
Please adwise some workaround.

Usually it's hard to determine the reason of FTP problem without reproducing it on our side. Is it possible for us to get a test account on your server where this problem is reproducible?

SqlBackupAndFTP distributed with Dart.FTP component designed for FTP/FTPS (FTP over SSL/TSL connection). Unix servers usually provide SFTP - FTP over SSH. IMHO this is why you were not able to connect to server.
