In addition to SQL Server databases why don't you allow backing up files?

SqlBackupAndFTP is a tidy tool for backing up SQL Server databases and we intend to keep it this way and not try to make it a Jack of all trades.

I think you guy's are missing the boat big time by not adding a simple file backup. You are right on with your SQL backup but now I need two tools to backup my data. I would license and roll this out to every customer I install if this tool had the ability to backup files.

Your post stirred a fierce debate among developers. This time your point of view won and we've decided to add a simple folder backup to SQLBackupAndFTP. For people who don't need it, the only additional element will be a small link "Add folders" at the left bottom of the screen, so their experience should not be diminished.
We plan to release it in two-three weeks. Thank you for initiating it.
