Upgrade to the latest version. failure persists however.

I appreciate any feedback.

My operating system is Windows 2003 server with SP2 and IIS ver. 6.0

I am experiencing the same problem and I have upgrade to the 4.3 version hoping the ftp fix timeout fix would correct it. But no luck! Here is my log for your review

1. Were all files successfully transferred? (I mean do you see them on FTP Server?)
2. Do you use Microsoft FTP server?

I have also just started getting failures due to timeouts in the last couple days, I'll send the full log via the contact link, but the timeout error is simple:

4/1/2010 5:00:31 AM ERROR: Upload failed: The FTP command execution timed-out.

Nothing has changed on my end, the files are around 48 MB, just a couple MB larger than they have been previously when they worked. I upload to my webhost and they haven't notified me of any changes on their end.

I tried changing the timeout from 600 to 2000 in the advanced settings with no effect. In fact, according to the log, it still times out right around 10 minutes, so maybe that is not the right place to change it? I also tried changing from passive to active in the FTP settings with no difference.

It seems like this isn't really an accurate error though. The file does end up on my FTP server, and I can restore it successfully, but I have no idea if all the data is actually there (I assume it is though since the file size exactly matches the size of the backup zip on my network drive, though oddly this size changes by a small number of bytes every time I run a new backup).

Please let me know if there is anything else you'd like from me, or like me to try.

I have also just started getting failures due to timeouts in the last couple days, I'll send the full log via the contact link, but the timeout error is simple:

Nothing has changed on my end, the files are around 48 MB, just a couple MB larger than they have been previously when they worked. I upload to my webhost and they haven't notified me of any changes on their end.

I tried changing the timeout from 600 to 2000 in the advanced settings with no effect. In fact, according to the log, it still times out right around 10 minutes, so maybe that is not the right place to change it? I also tried changing from passive to active in the FTP settings with no difference.

It seems like this isn't really an accurate error though. The file does end up on my FTP server, and I can restore it successfully, but I have no idea if all the data is actually there (I assume it is though since the file size exactly matches the size of the backup zip on my network drive, though oddly this size changes by a small number of bytes every time I run a new backup).

Please let me know if there is anything else you'd like from me, or like me to try.



Please enable FTP logging (FTP Setting->Write FTP session to log), then repeat your action and send us the log file.

I still have the problem and I have the 4.5.3.19594 version profesional licence,

My server is Win server 2008 is a dedicated server of godaddy and the ftp is also from godaddy,
speed between them is huge, so I don't understand what is going on,
It has like two months working perfectly.

Any help is appreciated, here is the complete log.
I saw a warning there, so I guess the problem is there.

Go to FTP Settings -> advanced ftp settings and switch to passive mode. Then try again
