I have installed SQLBackupandFTP and the backup file it generates is 8MB. When I run a backup with MS SQL Server Management Studio Express, the backup size is 24MB.
Is this normal?
Thanks,
Todd

It very much depends on backup settings in both cases. Are you sure you are not comparing ZIP to BAK file?
