It is easy to restore .bak file- Pretty straight Forward. Either through command line or enterprise manager or from restore command.
When i try to open .SQL file- Its just list of SQL statements, that creates Users, schema. I could not find where it restored actual data as in data.
Let me know, how to restore your back up that creates .sql file.
