Hi,

I am evaluating your free version and plan to purchase the professional version, if it can work in my scenario.

My setup is a two node active/passive SQL server 2005 Cluster. When I connect to my server via the UI, it automatically assumes it to be a remote server and ONLY allows me to do Remote scripting (i am guessing because of clustering setup). I don't want that. The "BACKUP DATABASE" command will work in my case since I do that via custom SQL scripts right now anyways.

So my question is

1. Can ".bak" backup be taken in clustering setup
2. Are there any command line options to force "backup database" backup instead of remote script backup?

Thanks,
Kumaran

Hi Kumaran,

Thank you for asking. We purposely don't support such a configuration and we don't have plans to do it.

Best regards,
