Hi there,
We have inherited support for a system that currently has no implemented SQL backup.
We were looking at putting on SQL Backup and FTP however we have discovered that the SQL port is not the standard port and thus SB&F connections time out. I cannot find an option anywhere to manually specify the SQL port.
Does anyone know if this is possible?

Hi,

You can specify a port number right in the SQL server connection string in the following manner: ".\SQLEXPRESS,2324" (see "Connect to SQL Server" window).
