Guys,

I am getting the following error while zipping the wwwroot to a zipfile:

DETAILED LOG:
28-9-2010 4:00:01 Starting folder backup
28-9-2010 4:00:01 Zipping C:\inetpub\wwwroot to C:\Backup\Filesystem\wwwroot201009280400.zip
28-9-2010 4:41:49 ERROR: Zip failed: An unexpected internal failure occurred in the FileSystem component, or one of its descendants.
Type: Xceed.FileSystem.DiskFolder
FullName: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\
28-9-2010 4:41:49 Cleaning C:\Backup\Filesystem
28-9-2010 4:41:49 Removing wwwroot201009270400.zip from C:\Backup\Filesystem

The size of the wwwroot is 6.5 Gb, can that be the problem?
Diskspace: 12 Gb available

May thanks,
Patrique

Hi,

Thanks for reporting. Yes a huge folder may be the problem. Unfortunately as soon as we use a third-party component for zipping it's not easy to fix problems related to it right away. Let us sleep on this.

BR,
Mike

I have experienced the same issue. Since I am a single user with the SQL database on the same PC as the user database, if I reboot the PC before the backup runs, it seems to be fine. Not exactly ideal! I have the free version but am considering the paid version so that I can get tech support on this issue.
