Excellent to see Diff and Log backups included in the GUI now. Would be great to see a "Start Time" for the first full backup in the advanced scheduler... otherwise I have to change the server time temporarily to get the required schedule.

Don't change the server time. Starting time is defined on the main form.

Setting the time on the main form does not work for advance schedule backups.

You are right. By default SBF starts once daily at the time defined on the main form. When you set advanced schedule, it will start right away with full backup, then all of the following backups after it at whatever intervals you've defined. This seems not perfect as it does not allow you to specify the starting time of the full backup. We are thinking how to make it simpler on the interface - we will release an update next week, it is certainly a big omission on our part - thank you for pointing this out.

Looking forward to the next release. If I purchase the professional version now without the 12 month free update option, does that mean I would be excluded from receiving the upcoming fix?

This fix is top priority and will be released this Monday or Tuesday - you can't miss it.

The new v.6.0.11 allows you to specify the time of next full backup explicitly.
